Hi, my name is Althea and welcome to “Itz’ N The Wash”.  I live here in southern MS, but I am originally from Mandeville LA. I’ve worked a GIG job for 2 years now and during that time I’ve had the opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people.  And through conversations, I was able to learn a lot about the people I had spoken with... and one of the things that really stood out, especially with busy parents, was NOT having enough time to do the laundry.  

I know this may sound a little corky, but I have a huge passion for doing laundry, especially folding clothes. And I have over 60 years of experience-because I had the best teacher ever; my mom!

My mom was uber thorough when it came to doing the laundry! "How to load clothes in the washer, how much detergent to add, when to use bleach and how much, shaking the clothes before putting them into dryer, how long to dry, and removing them while they are still warm."  But folding clothes was her trademark. My mom folded clothes with absolute perfection! 
And I carry that trademark till this day!
